My ex-wife is seeking payment from our divorce.

My divorce states that I must pay my ex $60,000 when I sell my home or my children graduate college or I am able to refinance the home. My self and my current fiance took an equity line of credit. Now my ex is holding me in contempt. Can he do this? Is an equity line of credit the same as refinancing the home? This is in the state of Massachusetts.
