Where do you find out the cases won or lost by an attorney?
I am an entrepreneur in the field of Legal Research, Litigation support and Expert witness testimony.
It is indeed very difficult to ascertain the exact no. of cases but you can always get an assessment of how the attorney has usually faired in the cases that have been reported. Certain legal databases have huge collections of trial pleadings, jury verdicts, appellate briefs which are all searchable by attorney name. So, a fair idea can be gained from using these resources.

There is no real way to answer this question. Very few cases actually go to trial. Most are settled by agreement of the parties or by mediation. The best way to gauge if an attorney has been successful in the pursuit of his or her cases is to talk to people who have used that attorney. They can tell you if the attorney was diligent in pursuing the case, responsive to the client and honest in evaluating the merits of the case and advising the client truthfully.
