What Are Your New Year's Resolutions?

Last updated on: February 14, 2020
Like many, I am looking forward to a new year and a new administration.  Here are a few of my 2009 resolutions:

1.  I will get more involved in public service. I'm not sure how exactly, but I would like to complain less about all the world's problems and do more to help.

2.  I will become more tech savvy, especially with the Internet.

I know these aren't the best resolutions ever made, and I can't be sure if I'll keep them, but if you have any better ones let me know.

I am licensed to practice law in Colorado, but my primary focus is to manage Page 1 Solutions - a website marketing company that focuses on Internet marketing for attorneys.

1.  I will walk on the treadmill at least five days each week and practice karate three days each week. (I had to take a week off for an injury, but plan to get back to it tomorrow morning.)
2.  I will study Spanish by listening to a 15 CD course in my car on my way to and from work

About
Potecting and counseling clients in all areas of intellectual property, including copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and patents.

My resolutions are to do more networking and increase my origination dollars, write more articles, and lecture more on intellectual property to non-lawyers.

P.S. I used to work in the IT field and I have been on the Internet since 1990.  Maybe a good resolution would be for me to become less tech-inclined.
