Sorin Ardelean’s Profile

Sorin Ardelean is both an U.S. attorney at law and a civil law attorney. He holds two law degrees: a Juris Doctor from the Florida State University’s College of Law in Tallahassee, Florida, and Law Diploma in Civil and International Law from the Western University “Vasile Goldis” Law School in Arad, Romania. Sorin focuses his practice in Federal and State Administrative Law and Government Practice, and Professional, Medical and Business License Defense.

Sorin is the owner of License Lex PLLC (“Lex” is Latin for “Law”), a license defense and administrative litigation law firm based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, representing  clients throughout the state. License Lex focuses primarily in the areas of federal and state administrative law, medical, professional and business license law and litigation, local government law and environmental permitting, litigating on behalf of clients before local, state and federal courts, and administrative tribunals. License Lex also represents clients in cases related to international trade law, corporations, commercial contracts, business visas,  immigration law, wills and estate planning.

Before opening his law office, Sorin served the people of Florida for more than seven years as a statewide administrative prosecutor for the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. He has prosecuted hundreds of Construction, Real Estate and Real Estate Appraisal, Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco, and Unlicensed Activity license disciplinary cases on behalf of the State of Florida. In 2008, Sorin was awarded a merit award for his litigation work on behalf of the Department.

Sorin is married to a physician, Dr. Claudia V. Perdei, M.D., and he takes a special interest in medical or nurse license defense cases, or health care facility defense cases. Due to philosophical and personal considerations, Sorin does not accept any malpractice cases against medical professionals or medical facilities. Sorin will relentlessly and competently represent you in court or before any federal, state and local agency.
