Russel J. Geist Mr. Geist earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1996. After moving to Las Vegas, Mr. Geist enrolled at the Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas earning his juris doctorate in 2004. He continued his legal education in Dallas at the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University where he obtained his master’s of law degree in Taxation in 2007. Mr. Geist entered the practice of law after working in the banking industry for an international company in the credit operations department. During law school, he taught classes at Clark County Legal Services on obtaining a divorce, and trained other instructors for the class. Upon graduating from law school, he gained experience in commercial litigation practicing in Las Vegas and later in Dallas.
