While born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Piercy pursued his BA from Florida State University. After, he went on to pursue his JD from the University of Florida College of Law. During his time in law school, Piercy stood out as a leader, becoming an active member of the Moot Court and Trial Competition Teams.
