Phil Virga is a Registered United States Patent Attorney with over twenty-years working directly with inventors in preparing and prosecuting domestic and international patent applications primarily within the electrical, software and mechanical arts. Phil earned both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Northridge in 1983 and 1987 respectively.

Phil’s knowledge base includes inventions in areas of wireless communication, hardware, software and mobile applications. In addition to his broad-spectrum of patent work with inventors, Phil drafts patent appeals and coordinates the strategic IP planning and management of patent portfolios for both small and large businesses. Phil has conducted patentability, validity and infringement research and rendered opinions in addition to preparing and prosecuting hundreds of patent and trademark applications and copyright cases.
