Nicole E. Foster was born and raised in North Dakota. She graduated cum laude from University of North Dakota with a Criminal Justice degree in 1999. Nicole then went on to University of North Dakota Law School where she graduated with distinction in 2002. During law school, Nicole worked as a law clerk with a local law firm gaining valuable experience on what it means to be a lawyer that you do not get from a classroom. 

Upon graduation, Nicole became an Assistant State's Attorney for Williams County, ND. There she became known for being an aggressive litigator. Just 10 months later Nicole became the State's Attorney and held that position for six years. During that six years Nicole successfully argued before the North Dakota Supreme Court on several occasions, successfully tried several jury cases, became a trainer of law enforcement in different areas of the law, and was a force to be reckoned with. 

Nicole then decided to follow her heart to the State of California and make the Golden state her home. Having arrived in California in 2008, Nicole has successfully built a family law, criminal defense and bankruptcy practice, continuing to fight for people who find themselves in stressful scary situations. 

When not battling it out in the courtroom, Nicole spends her free time with her children and can usually be found at the beach. Due to the wonders of technology Nicole is always just a phone call away for her clients because she understands that important situations do not happen only between 8 am and 5 pm. Not wanting to leave her roots behind, Nicole still practices family law in the state of North Dakota.
