I strive to help people through difficult times with compassion and integrity. I pride myself on standing up for people and helping them navigate through the difficult and stressful process that is our legal system. I focus on my clients as people by taking the time to understand not just the facts of their case, but who they are and what they need. Knowing that the legal process can be intimidating, I explain the process, your rights, your options, and possible outcomes. Perhaps more important than anything else, I have experience trying important and difficult cases and a reputation as an experienced and savvy trial lawyer. Not every case needs to go to trial, but when your attorney has a reputation as a skilled trial lawyer who fights for their clients, it makes all the difference in the world. 

I grew up in Dallas and attended law school at SMU Dedman School of Law. I began my career fighting for justice for people in civil cases at Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas and then in criminal cases as as a Public Defender in Dallas. When I realized that I could not represent my clients the way I felt they deserved as a Public Defender, I created my own firm where I could help people my way. For most of my career I focused 100% on criminal defense, handling cases in both state and federal court ranging from misdemeanors up to the most serious felony charges. Over time I realized my clients needed quality representation in personal injury matters such as car accidents, preventable workplace accidents, dangerous products, and so on, so I extended my law practice to include both criminal defense and personal injury representation.
