While not at work, with so many small children, Mr. del Mazo is able to keep his family law negotiation skills sharp, as in house counsel and second in command, in his own home, he is often called upon to resolve heated disputes concerning such pressing family matters as: the age appropriateness of bed times, the ownership rights to articles of clothing among siblings (usually shoes), determinations of who was “actually in first” in the TV room, and of course, why something so obviously unfair is, in fact, completely appropriate. Obviously, much of this work is done at a substantially reduced fee.
