Social Security Disability Lawyer Mark Milsop

Mark Malak joined Berger and Green in 2019, bringing with him years of national experience in Social Security Disability law. He is committed to helping individuals who can no longer work due to a disability and treats every case with the professionalism, compassion, and determination it deserves.

A graduate of Rowan University, Mark earned his bachelor’s degree in political science with honors in 2010. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law in 2013. While in law school, he gained valuable experience and recognition for his dedication to public service:

• Awarded a legal fellowship through Legal Services, where he represented clients who could not afford private attorneys
• Honored for his work serving low-income individuals
• Participated in Hofstra’s Criminal Justice Clinic, defending clients in county court charged with misdemeanors

Before joining Berger and Green, Mark litigated Social Security Disability cases in more than 30 states. He is passionate about helping clients through the claims process and takes pride in fighting for the benefits they deserve.

Mark has been named to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars list from 2021–2025—an honor awarded to only 2.5% of attorneys in the state.

He is active in several professional organizations, including:

• Allegheny County Bar Association
