Marilyn Gale Vilyus has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Cleveland State University where she graduated cum laude.  She did graduate work in education and curriculum at the University of New Orleans.  Marilyn was also a partner in a small business focussed on grant writing.  Marilyn began law school at the University of Loyola in New Orleans where she was the first recipient of the Michael X. St. Martin scholarship.  Her husband was transferred to Texas, and she therefore graduated from St. Mary's Law School.  All of her background reflects her interest in sociological and psychological impact of family law issues on parents and childern.   Marilyn Gale Vilyus has been practicing family law in Houston since 1999.
