About Kervyn B. Altaffer Jr.

Formerly a U.S. Marine Officer, Kervyn B. Altaffer, Jr. grew up in Texas and was formerly a partner in the oldest law firm in Dallas. After practicing there for 17 years in areas of law including, but not limited to, employment, general civil, commercial, and tort litigation, including malicious prosecution, fraud and deceptive trade practices (DTPA), he devoted several years of practice to those in poverty located in the northern and western regions of Texas. He has been a presenter at State Bar CLE Seminars and other forums and he is AV PEER Review Rated with Martindale-Hubbell. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Rice University in Houston and law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law. He has three beloved children and two grandchildren.
