I have had several roles in my career as an attorney. I started as a law clerk to a Superior Court Judge (felony and civil matters) in Cobb County. After that I worked in residential real estate which proved to be a fantastic bore.  Looking for a more interesting fashion to use my degree I returned to my family roots as a civil servant by joining the Georgia Public Defender Standards council as a trial attorney. After several years with Fulton County and the State of Georgia as a senior trial attorney and supervisor, I grew restless with the limitations on my practice. While attending a few regional seminars and then the three week residential intensive Trial Lawyers College, run by Super-Lawyer Gerry Spence in Duboise, WY (http://www.triallawyerscollege.com/), I decided that I needed to do more for people and less for the state so I started my own firm where I take cases that need justice and the clients that go with them. I like to spend significant time with clients and make them comfortable, if not relaxed, during the pendency of their case and refuse to carry a case load that does not allow for extensive client interactions.
