Jason Castano is proud to help disabled Texans from all walks of life obtain the Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits they need.

“In the course of my practice, I’ve come to the conclusion that disability is something that can happen to anybody regardless of who they are or where they come from,” Jason says.

“I take pride in knowing that I have the opportunity to assist and help countless people from all types of backgrounds; in a different type of practice or different type of law, you may not have that opportunity.”

Jason started off his legal career as a plaintiff’s lawyer at a well known Houston law firm, where he represented persons injured in automobile and industrial accidents.

He joined The Bob Richardson Law Firm in 2006 and has since represented hundreds of persons with disability claims before the Social Security Administration. He is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives (NOSSCR).

Jason is a graduate of the University of Texas, where he made the Dean’s List numerous times and earned his B.A. degree in Government in just three years.

He went on to receive his law degree from the South Texas College of Law. During law school, Jason worked at an insurance defense firm, focusing on medical malpractice and general negligence cases. He also volunteered with the South Texas Legal Clinic, which provides legal services at little or no cost to low-income persons.
