i was fired for what i was told at time of hire that was ok. They have many hispanics that work there and have missed days, and being late and they have yet to fire none. do i have a discrimination suit?

when I was hired I was told as long as I had doc excuse for the days I was out It wouldn't count against me. when my supervisor called me in his office to let me go he said it was policy not to miss any days which I was never told that policy during being hired. I was told as long as I have doc excuse I would be fine. I stressed to them that wasn't what I was told. I have tried to talk to someone over them but, seem to cant get anywhere. they have told me that policy was set after I was hired which I feel shouldn't have applied to me since it was after me and I was never told any different.
