Criminal defense attorney representing clients facing State & Federal criminal charges.

Finding information about a case that happened decades ago can be challenging, but there are a few things you can try. One option is to check online news archives. Many newspapers have digitized their past articles and made them available online. You can try searching for the person's name and the crime in question and see if any articles come up. Keep in mind that some newspapers charge a fee to access their archives. Another option is to check with the court where the trial took place. You can contact the court clerk and ask for information about the case. Depending on the jurisdiction and the age of the case, some court records may be available online, or you might have to visit the court in person to access the records. You can also check with the state or federal department of corrections to see if they have information about the case, or even try to reach out to the attorney who represented the person on trial. It's worth noting that some records may have been sealed or destroyed, or they may have not been digitized yet, so it's possible that you might not be able to find all the information you're looking for. But, it's worth a try to check all the different sources and see what you can find.
