Mr. Reecher is a shareholder in the Bristol, Virginia/Tennessee firm of Elliott Lawson & Minor, P.C. His practice focuses primarily in the area of management-side labor and employment law, including the application of the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Mr. Reecher's practice also includes civil litigation and appeals, business consultation and transactions, corporate law, land use law, municipal law, and bankruptcy law. Mr. Reecher received his undergraduate degree from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and his law degree from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia. He practices in the state courts of both Tennessee and Virginia, as well as in the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Tennessee and the Western District of Virginia, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the Sixth Circuit, and the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern District of Tennessee and the Western District of Virginia.
