Eric J. Conn is a founding partner of Conn Maciel Carey and Chair of the firm’s OSHA • Workplace Safety Practice Group. His practice focuses exclusively on occupational safety and health law, advising employers on regulatory compliance, workplace safety policies, and enforcement actions.

With decades of experience, including working alongside the first General Counsel of the OSH Review Commission, Eric represents employers in OSHA inspections, litigation, and criminal investigations. He also counsels clients through catastrophic workplace incidents and helps develop safety programs.

Eric leads Conn Maciel Carey’s nationally recognized OSHA Practice, which was named a “Band 1” OSHA Law Firm by Chambers USA in 2022. He has been individually recognized among the top OSHA law practitioners and consistently named a Super Lawyer. A prolific writer and speaker, Eric curates the firm’s OSHA Defense Report blog, contributes to leading OSHA treatises, and frequently presents at industry events.
