Adam Cohen was born and raised in Miami, and always knew he belonged in the courtroom. From a young age, he and his friends would settle their disputes by holding "mock trials." After graduating from the University of Miami with a Bachelors in Business Administration, he completed an internship with the Florida Marlins. From there, Adam went to Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and clerked with the District Attorney's Office. Adam's first hearing was in front of Judge Lance Ito. After winning that hearing, his career as a criminal attorney was solidified. 

Upon graduating law school, Adam was an Assistant State Attorney in the domestic violence unit in the Miami-Dade prosecutor's office. After completing his time there, he moved to the other side of the courtroom, defending serious felonies. Eventually private practice called. Once in private practice, Adam successfully defended hundreds of DUI's and dozens of thousands of traffic tickets!
